No. Instead of including a bunch of activities which may not be of interest to you – Roady gives you the freedom to spend your days however you please. When you book a Roady you will receive a Travel Guide which provides information on the best paid and free activities of each destination. You will also receive exclusive discounts from some of our favourite activity providers.

We provide 4 car options depending on the size of your group and preferences:
- Group of 2 – HATCHBACK – Toyota Corolla or Similar
- Group of 3 – SEDAN – Toyota Touring Corolla or Similar
- Group of 4 – SUV – Hyundai Tucson or Similar
- Group of 5 – SUV 4X4 – Hyundai Sante Fe or Similar
Yes. Car hire includes the all-inclusive insurance package with no bond or excess required. This includes a GPS navigation system plus other features if required such as snow chains for the winter months and child car seat.
We partner with the best rental car company in New Zealand called Go Rentals who have depots at or near all of the main airports. This means your vehicle will be waiting for you when you arrive and you will be able to drop it off at the airport just before you fly out.
All drivers must be 21 years of age or older and hold a full driver’s licence printed in English, which must be presented to Go-Rentals at time of pick up.
Car upgrade is available, i.e. a group of 2 wanting the SUV rather than the Sedan. The price difference between the tour-car and the requested car will need to be paid upon pick-up at the Go Rentals Depot.
To secure a booking online full payment for all group members is required 3 days or more in advance. To secure a booking with less than 3 days notice, please contact us to check availability.
Yes. You must all use the group booking reference on the checkout page when making a payment.
You must contact us 3 days or more in advance for a refund of 95% (5% admin fee). With 2 to 3 days notice you will receive a 50% refund and with less than 2 days notice there will be no refund.
Group sizes of 2 – 12 people
No. However, your car will need a driver. As long as your group has one person who is 21 years or older and who holds a Full Drivers Licence printed in English the tour can go ahead.
