Founded in 2017 by Roscoe Price Moor, Roady began with a mission to uncover New Zealand’s hidden gems and share them with curious travellers online. Today, it’s the country’s leading travel content and media company and the place people go to discover the best things to do and plan epic trips.
In 2022, the Roady App launched to take road-tripping to the next level. It features a map of 2,500+ unique experiences, complete with inspiring photos, key details, and local tips to help users build their perfect itinerary. The app also includes a gamified element, rewarding travellers with badges and leaderboard rankings as they hit milestones—encouraging exploration beyond the usual hotspots and helping disperse tourism across New Zealand and Australia.

From a simple observation to building the future of travel
The Spark
Roscoe Price Moor noticed how difficult it was to plan a New Zealand road trip. While Instagram provided inspiration, there was no platform to easily access supporting information and plan a meaningful trip.
Learning, Listening, Creating
Four years of touring New Zealand top to bottom, capturing content, listening to visitors, speaking with locals, and building an amazing traveler community – we started to understand what travelers really need.
Building the Future
Roady launches an interactive travel app to help people find cool things to do in new places, making local knowledge accessible to everyone.
Expansion
Roady expands to Australia, bringing our vision of accessible travel planning to a whole new continent.
